Steak and Lobster Dinner

The dinner was a success.   Close to 70 people enjoyed themselves.  The lobsters were well over 1 ¼ lb and the steaks were ¾ inch and tasty.  We had a door raffle with  5 different food items which went over well.  The 50/50 was won by Carol Demers and she donated it back to the Club.  Thank you  Carol.  The two winners for Easy Bucks were:  Peter Bumila and Marc Medeiros both from Massachusetts. They were not present so they will receive $50 each from the Club.  

We had three people nominated for two seats on the board -- Kash Haley, Nick Pathiakis, and Carl Symes.  The members were given pencils and blank sheets to vote on only two people.  The votes were tallied:  Nick  29,  Carl  36, and  Kash  12.  Congratulations to the  newly Elected board members: Carl and Nick.

We took in $2218 during the steak & lobster dinner.  This includes dinners, club merchandise and 50/50 raffle.  The cost of the lobsters, steaks, potatoes, appetizers and condiments was $1066.59. This leaves a profit of $1151.41  for the Club. 

A  huge thank you to people who helped make this a success by setting up, serving, and cleaning up. These  include:  Rick Godaire, Paul Packard, Wayne Seaman, Mac Dudley, Merri Walker, Vincent Caracciolo, the Kelley family and their friends.  My apology to anyone I left out.
